Step 2 is a unique project in Bradford which offers counselling to children and young people aged 5 to 25 years in primary schools, secondary schools and at various locations in the local community. We are passionate about providing the very best service to some of the most vulnerable children and young people in Bradford and the surrounding areas.

We have secured funding to run a pilot project offering Outdoor Therapy to 5 to 11 year olds, one day a week, running from November to March, with a view to securing further finding to develop this area of work at Step2

This is an exciting opportunity for qualified Person Centred Counsellors (minimum Diploma) or qualified Play Therapists who have some experience of working with children and young people, preferably in school environments. We are particularly looking for therapists with an interest in or experience of offering Outdoor Therapy and who are passionate about this area of work. We will offer some training in the outdoor therapy approach.

You will join our dedicated and growing team who currently offer counselling to around 190 children and young people per week in a range of settings.You will be flexible in your approach and be well supported in your work.
