Young Person's Counsellor

Step 2 is a unique project in Bradford which offers counselling to children and young people aged 5 to 25 years in primary schools, secondary schools and at various locations in the local community. We are passionate about providing the very best service to some of the most vulnerable children and young people in Bradford and the surrounding areas.

Extended Access Service (16 to 25 years)

Step 2 are increasing our offer of counselling to young people aged 16 to 25 years in the Extended Access Service, which operates between 6.30pm and 9.30pm at a range of health centres around Bradford, alongside clinical services. Currently this work is being offered remotely.

Step2 Community based work (11 to 18 years)

Step2 offer counselling to people aged 11 to 18 years in the evenings between 4pm and 8pm at community bases in Bradford. We have some evening sessions available and we are looking to offer this work face to face wherever preferred and possible.

This is an exciting opportunity for qualified Person Centred Counsellors (minimum Diploma) who have some experience of working with young people and who are passionate about this area of work. You will join our dedicated and growing team who currently offer counselling to around 190 children and young people per week in a range of settings.

You will be flexible in your approach and be well supported in your work.

£20 per hour (dependant on experience)
