Refugee, Asylum Seeking and Trafficked Women’s Caseworker.

(28 hours per week, worked over 4 days to include Mondays)

Who are we looking for?

In this role, you will ensure the provision of high-quality, person-centred, advice and advocacy support for people in a range of complex and crisis related situations. Reporting to the RASTW Advocacy lead, you will work very closely with colleagues, and volunteers as part of a diverse and dynamic team, and liaise with external stakeholders to get the best outcomes for our service users. The role is currently conducted as a combination of face to face casework and remotely, in-line with pandemic guidelines.

This role might be for you if you are committed to actively advocating for Refugee, Asylum Seeking and Trafficked women to access their rights, and overcome barriers to a safe life in the UK. You have experience providing sensitive, safe and empowering support to distressed people in vulnerable situations. You're a team player who's comfortable within what can sometimes be a busy and demanding environment.

We especially welcome applicants with lived experience.

This post will be based at our Bradford City Centre office/working from home /other locations as required

The starting salary is NJC scale point 22 (currently £27,040) pro rata        

PLEASE NOTE: BRC & SASS offers services to women and girls who have experienced sexual violence within a women-only safe space.  It is an occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010 (Schedule 9, part 1) for this post to be filled by a woman.
