Contract: funded initially until the end of March 2022 with the distinct possibility of extension

FTE Salary: £25,170 per annum                                 

Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week full time-

Typical hours are 9.00- 5pm Monday to Friday to map across to service provision required for our beneficiaries. The post holders are expected to work flexibly around the needs of service user’s appointments, crisis need and local initiatives and this may include occasional early starts, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

We are recruiting a Navigator to work alongside an established team of experienced navigators.

The role of the service is:

to improve the lives and wellbeing of people with the most entrenched multiple needs who don’t engage in services, revolve in and out of services or are excluded from services.

Through a supportive navigator  relationship people with a range of multiple and entrenched needs, within the domains of housing, substance misuse, offending behaviour, mental health and physical health access services which they find difficult to engage with to lead a more fulfilling life.

The team will utilise an assertive engagement approach to encourage clients to access the service and thereafter provide flexible, client-centred, and individualised casework support. The Navigator will be working with in an outreach capacity to enable clients to access the services and interventions they need to build their resilience, gain confidence and acquire the personal and social assets they need to meet their aspirations.
