Mens worker

We are looking for a sessional worker for 4 hours a week {2 hours for the session and 2 hours planning time) to set up and develop a mens group from the Community Centre. Scholemoor Beacon is located in BD7 about 3 miles from the City Centre. It is a small Incommunities estate with a diverse community. Pre covid we had a mens group but it has not now met for some time and would need and dedicated and enthusiastic worker to get the sessions up and running again, with the support of the staff team. We would want the sessions to focus on supporting and encouraging men to discuss things that are important to them, take part in physical activity, learn new skills and promote mental health and wellbeing. Some of the men that we have supported in the past have had issues with loss, low confidence and loneliness and social isolation. With the funding there are some transport costs as it would be good to support the group to travel further afield. The session would ideally need to be delivered on a Monday morning or Tuesday afternoon or possibly a Thursday but there could be some flexibility for the right candidate. Car driver would be preferable and if had experience of driving minibus that would be helpful.
