We are looking for a Part Time Housing Support Workers ‘to help people to live the best life they can’

The STAY-in Millhaven service is looking for a Part Time Housing Support Workers to join the team.  Mondays and Fridays 2 days 16-18 hours a week, annual salary, £20,548.00 (salary pro-rata for part time hours).  You will be required to bank holidays/ religious festivals. We offer great benefits, which include 6 weeks annual leave plus statutory holidays, contributory pension scheme, free car parking and travel expenses. A valid UK driving licence and a vehicle for business use is essential for this role.

You will have the skills and experience to…  

• Manage a caseload, which includes supporting clients to be tenancy ready to assist them into permanent housing.
• Support people in the practical and emotional aspects of maintaining their accommodation and liaising with other professional support services.
• Work effectively, adaptively and have the ability to remain calm under pressure and in isolated situations
• Carry out domestic duties and minor repairs to ensure clients have a clean and safe living environment.
• Provide appropriate support, based on the client’s needs, risk assessment and support plan.
