Grade 4 (lower) points 29-33: £35,064 - £39,123 FTE (£21,038.40 - £23,473.80 per annum)

Starting salary dependent on qualifications / experience

Bradford Children’s Trauma Therapy Service offers specialist trauma and attachment-focussed therapy to children and families who have experienced sexual abuse, traumatic bereavement or Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly skilled psychotherapist or counsellor to join our service at a key time of service development.  

We work with the needs of the whole family in mind.  We are looking for an experienced psychotherapist or counsellor who is trauma and attachment-focused in their approach, has experience of working with children, young people and their parents/carers and is able to work systemically. This could include Child Psychotherapists, Drama or Art Therapists, Family Therapists, or Counsellors with additional training/experience in working with children and trauma.  

Working closely with the Service Manager and the other Senior Therapist you will offer leadership, support and supervision to the staff team including overseeing clinical triage and allocations process in the service.
