POST: Team Leader
LOCATION: Keighley
GRADE: £25,463 per annum
HOURS: 36 hours per week
CONTRACT: 12 months fixed-term
Key Purpose
- To support people with drug and alcohol issues, and their families, by effectively managing the provision of brief intervention sessions, group work programmes, friends and family support, training and asset-based community development (ABCD) activities.
- To provide line management and support and supervision to associated Project 6 staff.
Team Leader Duties:
- Promote the Project to external organisations and manage the transition of individuals into the service.
- Develop partnerships and maintain the profile through the delivery of brief intervention, group work programmes, training and recovery activities.
- Attend external meetings and chair team meetings as and when required.
- Support the leadership team in the development, promotion and evaluation of the project activities.
- Role model reflective, inclusive and professional practice to all staff and volunteers
- Provide line management supervision to Project 6 staff working on the New Direction Contract
- Ensure that the project tracks targets for the delivery of cyclical statutory treatment programmes.
- Evaluate and develop the programmes and group activities to ensure they meet the needs of service users.
- Ensure a diverse range of ABCD activities are available, responding to service user feedback.
- Maintain health and safety in accordance with Project 6 procedures.
- Ensure the premises are maintained.
- Maintain data collection systems, project monitoring and reporting
- Work with organisational Safeguarding Lead to ensure policies, protocols and procedures are met.
- Maintain links and communication with CGL/New Directions.
