Head of Finance and Corporate Services

Staying Put is a domestic abuse and sexual violence charity working across the Bradford area. We support women, men and children who are survivors of domestic abuse and sexual violence. We are part of Bradford Survive and Thrive, an exciting and innovative multi-agency partnership bringing together 3 organisations, Family Action, Staying Put and Women Centre, who are working together to develop a ‘one system approach’ to families affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence.

Our vision is to lead the way in quality service provision to victims of abuse and violence, to remove the barriers that prevent people from speaking out and seeking help.

We are now at a point in our growth where we need to develop our structure once more and appoint an enthusiastic and committed Head of Finance and Corporate Services into this newly created role.

Working closely with the CEO, the Head of Finance and Corporate Services will be accountable for the finance department, overseeing the day to day finance operations, setting budgets, preparing management account and managing financial monitoring and control.  The role will also lead, develop and motivate the corporate services teams, including fundraising, business support, HR and data analysis.

In this newly created role, you will be part of a dynamic and committed leadership team, taking responsibility for finances, strategic project management and corporate services.

We are looking for someone with significant financial experience who is a strategic thinker with excellent planning, implementation and monitoring skills. The ideal candidate will be a chartered accountant or equivalent with a proven track record of working in a senior financial role with experience of leading, developing and motivating others.

In return we offer a flexible and supportive environment with a generous holiday entitlement, competitive rates of pay, training and development as well as a discount scheme and Employee Assistance Programme.

If you have the desire to deliver services that improve the lives of people affected by domestic and sexual abuse and you believe you have the relevant skills and experience and commitment to Staying Put’s vision, mission and values, we would love to hear from you.
