Head of Corporate Services & Client Care

Staying Put is a domestic abuse and sexual violence charity working across the Bradford area. We support women, men and children who are survivors of domestic abuse and sexual violence. We are part of Bradford Survive and Thrive, an exciting and innovative multi-agency partnership bringing together 3 organisations, Family Action, Staying Put and Women Centre, who are working together to develop a ‘one system approach’ to families affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence.

Our vision is to lead the way in quality service provision to victims of abuse and violence, to remove the barriers that prevent people from speaking out and seeking help.

We are now at a point in our growth where we need to develop our structure once more and appoint an enthusiastic and committed Head of Operations and Client Care into this existing role.

The successful candidate will closely with the CEO and front-line senior managers to deliver high-quality services for our clients, overseeing the day to day co-ordination and management of the helpline, accommodation and community services.

Women only - ** Due to the nature of our refuges being for women only, we can only accept applications from women under schedule 9 (part 1) of the Equality Act 2010**

We are looking for someone with relevant experience in a senior role, a proven track record of, preferably in a charity context and experience of supporting vulnerable clients within a quality assurance framework. They will be organised in leading, managing and motivating a diverse team across different sites.

The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level, with the desire to deliver service excellence and be an ambassador for Staying Put. They will be able to create excellent partnership relationships and have strong communication skills. A collaborative approach with excellent negotiating and influencing skills will be necessary for this role.

In return we offer a flexible and supportive environment with a generous holiday entitlement, competitive rates of pay, training and development as well as a discount scheme and Employee Assistance Programme.

If you have the desire to deliver services that improve the lives of people affected by domestic and sexual abuse and you believe you have the relevant skills and experience and commitment to Staying Put’s vision, mission and values, we would love to hear from you.
