Recovery and Resilience Practitioner

Based within our Recovery and Resilience Team in Bradford & Keighley, this role offers an opportunity to empower individuals moving on from experiences of domestic abuse. This role is key in supporting service users in their recovery journey, building resilience & providing links with specialist support networks.

We are looking for someone who has experience of developing and delivering group work programmes for vulnerable people. Do you have a broad understanding of the impact of domestic abuse and can be creative with communication skills across a range of media? The successful candidate will have a strong track record of partnership working.

Prime objectives of post

  • To ensure the provision of a comprehensive and effective delivery a hub and spoke model of group work programmes focussing on recovery, resilience and asset building for adults who have experienced domestic abuse and/or sexual violence.
  • To develop a robust infrastructure in order to recruit develop and manage volunteers in order to increase the capacity for recovery and resilience work with families.
  • To work alongside the AP/RR Team Leader, Early Intervention Practitioner and any volunteers, in the building of partnerships to support the programmes.
  • To support the AP/R&R Team Leader in the development of the provision.
  • To support the AP/R&R Team Leader in ensuring that services attain and retain recognised quality standards
