Advocacy and Support Worker (Bradford Destituion Project)

As an Advocacy and Support Worker with Abigail Housing, you will be the main point of contact for residents of the project, accessing the established weekly drop-in service.  You will support and meet the unmet needs of one of the most marginalised groups in our society and your knowledge of the UK asylum system, either through paid or unpaid work, or through your own lived experience will be invaluable.  Your insight will help to shape and design the service, and you will be responsible for the coordination of activities at the drop-in service which will help to improve the life chances of those we support.  The role will be rewarding, as you will work with people from all over the world, and will work alongside other members of the Bradford Project team, to positively assist residents with moving on from the project and rebuilding their lives here in the UK.
