We are looking for people with the ability to develop good relationships with both internal and external partners and great personal organisational skills. The ability to get on with people at all levels, be a good listener, problem solve and want to learn is more important than previous experience in these or similar roles.

About the Project:

Here 4 BDCC is a consortium of Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) organisations working as a team across the Bradford and Craven districts to ensure seamless support services. We are committed to creating single point access and 'no wrong door' so VCSE organisations find services first time.

Our approach puts Bradford District and Craven communities at the heart of everything we do, wrapping seamless services around them, listening to them and understanding their needs.

About the roles:

There are 2 FTE Partnerships and Networks Development Officer posts available, as well as a 0.8 Volunteering Development Officer role, fixed term for 3 years.

Development Workers are responsible for providing a wide range of development support services and activities to assist VCSE organisations to develop, thrive and remain sustainable.

You will work closely with organisations within the partnership and beyond to ensure services are accessible, connected, consistent and to a high standard. Our development work strives to built the capacity and capabilities of local groups, enabling them to carry on their own objectives effectively.

As a team of development workers, you will work closely to provide consistent and seamless support to organisations. Each individual in the team will take responsibility for a specialist area and deliver packages of support and training within that specialism. We are interested in hearing from people with experience of Funding Advice, Safeguarding and Volunteer Development.

If you do not have this experience and are willing to learn these new skills and use them to support VCSE organisations then we would also like to hear from you.

Diversity and Inclusion:

Here 4 BDCC is committed to challenging inequality and values the diversity of our communities across the region. We recognise that reflecting that diversity will only ever make our partnership better. We work to ensure an inclusive culture where colleagues feel welcomed and supported to succeed and thrive. We encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, particularly those from under-represented communities.
