Title of post: Recovery Support Worker (Multiple Needs Navigator Service)  

Location: Based Salem Street, Bradford. The post holder will be expected to travel anywhere in Bradford MBC in the delivery of direct navigation support services

Responsible to: Service Manager 

Salary Scale: £18,525 Full time – £9,880 for 20 hours) Fixed Term until March 2023

Hours of Work: Service Core hours Monday to Friday 9.00-5.00

Note: The post holder is expected to flexibility deliver the service to meet the needs of the client, this may require adjusting hours on the day to ensure support to appointments or other activities/ interventions/ attending meetings that that fall outside of these core hours.        

Annual Leave: 32 days FTE (Pro rata) + bank holidays.

We are recruiting A Recovery Support Worker/ Expert by Experience up to 20 hours per week to work within our Navigator service.

The role of the service is:

To support people who have a primary substance, need with co-existing multiple needs including offending behaviour, learning difficulties and perpetrators of domestic abuse access services and lead a more fulfilling life.

The team will utilise an assertive engagement approach to encourage clients to access the project and thereafter provide flexible, client-centred, and individualised casework support. The Recovery support worker will be working under the guidance of the navigators with in an outreach capacity to enable clients to access the services and interventions they need to build their resilience, gain confidence and acquire the personal and social assets they need to meet their aspirations.
