Horton Housing Association is looking for an experienced Maintenance Worker to join the Maintenance team based in Bradford, a level 2 trade qualification in a relevant trade, would be beneficial. This is a permanent full time position, working 35 hours per week Monday – Friday. Salary is £21,630.00- £22,275.00 per annum (depending on a relevant level 2 trade qualification). We offer great benefits including, 7.6 weeks ‘annual leave including statutory holidays and a contributory pension scheme. We provide a company van for work use, a valid driving licence is therefore essential for this role. 

You will be responsible for maintenance and repair work including, but not limited to, plumbing, joinery and flooring. You will have the skill and ability to move, assemble and dismantle furniture including the removal and disposal of household/outdoor items and rubbish. You will conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to ensure properties and land owned or managed by the organisation are maintained to a high standard and comply with regulatory standards. You will have previous experience in property maintenance or within a related field and have an understanding of the potential risk to health, safety and welfare in maintenance work.
