This is an exciting time! We are setting up a new Association, looking to appoint two independent board members with housing management or asset management expertise, to join our independent Chair and start us on our journey. As a housing association, we will always put our tenants at the heart of everything we do. We aim to ensure that our customer service standards are outstanding. To help us achieve our goals we are seeking tenant focussed, strategic, enthusiastic and committed board members.

Solace Housing Association is a subsidiary company of Staying Put.  A domestic abuse and sexual violence charity, supporting women, men and children, across the Bradford area for over 21 years.

The core attitude towards service delivery is embedded right across the Staying Put Group and as a housing association we will be more than just landlords. We value our links and engagement with health, local government and other partners to deliver improved outcomes and economic and social wellbeing for out tenants.

Our mission is to transform lives by providing housing to those who have experienced domestic abuse, with short- and long-term options. Our inclusive homes are for anyone who needs them.

It’s an excellent time to be joining the Solace Housing Association Board as the new board members, alongside the Chair, will be able to shape our strategy and future direction, allowing us to fulfil our ambitions.

New board members will be joining a Board, who work with and support the Charity’s Leadership team to meet the needs of our beneficiaries.

The position of Non-Executive Board Members is paid. Board members are expected to attend quarterly meetings. In return we offer a full induction, and the opportunity to work with talented board members and staff team to build a portfolio of high quality, relevant services that improve the lives of people affected by domestic violence and sexual abuse.
