12 months Temporary contract (various positions available)

35 hours per week, salary £21,630 per annum

About the service

Our Homes for Ukraine Support Service provides wrap-around for guests (Ukrainian refugees) and for the hosts (Sponsors). We support to help families and individuals settle into their new life in the UK. The service works predominantly with women and children.

About You

You will be responsible for assisting people in integrating into their new life in Bradford. This can include support with, registering with schools or English language classes, applying for benefits (where necessary), registering with a local GP, advice around and referral to appropriate mental health services and to specialist services as appropriate. We support families/individuals in becoming more independent. The specific duties required will depend on the needs of the person receiving support.

You will have either experience of working with differing groups of people, in either a paid or voluntary capacity or lived experience and have an understanding of issues faced by refugees.

This role requires an enhanced DBS and it is essential that you have a valid driving licence and use of a vehicle for work purposes.
