(Maternity cover - 22 hours per week, worked over 3 days to include Mondays for up to 13 months)

The starting salary is NJC scale point 22 (currently £27,040) pro rata. This post is temporary, to provide maternity cover and will last up to 13 months.

Who are we looking for?

Come and join Bradford Rape Crisis & Sexual Abuse Survivors Service. In this role, you will ensure the provision of high-quality, person-centred, advice and advocacy support for people in a range of complex and crisis related situations. Reporting to the RASTW Advocacy lead, you will work very closely with colleagues as part of a diverse and dynamic team and liaise with external stakeholders to get the best outcomes for our service users. The role is currently conducted as a combination of face to face and remote casework.

This role might be for you if you are committed to actively advocating for Refugee, Asylum Seeking and Trafficked women to access their rights and overcome barriers to a safe life in the UK. You have experience providing sensitive, safe and empowering support to distressed people in vulnerable situations. You're a team player who's comfortable within what can sometimes be a busy and demanding environment.

We especially welcome applicants with lived experience from women who will contribute to the diversity of our organisation, including Black, Asian & Minoritised women and disabled women.

This post is based at our Bradford city-centre office and other locations as required, including some home-working
