Our Community Hubs are warm welcoming spaces where people can get the information, help, support or advice they need for their situation; come in to volunteer their time or pick up a bargain in the retail section. Each of our six Community Hubs is working towards delivering a range of functions including Information, Help and Support, Advice and Casework, Community Activities and Events alongside Fundraising.
We are currently recruiting a Cover Retail Assistant to work as part of the Hub team, covering staff days off – providing a friendly, listening ear to people visiting the Hub and enabling access to our services and information. The role involves sorting and managing donations, supporting volunteers and being responsible for hub activities. There will also be Hub opening and closing duties, together with operating the till and banking.
Retail experience is preferred, along with a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
35 hours per week – part time and job share applications will be considered.
