Soroptimist International of Bradford is part of a worldwide organisation of women, which is linked to the United Nations. Soroptimist International Great Britain and Ireland (SIGBI) has 6000 Members in 270 Clubs in 18 countries including Great Britain, Ireland and countries in Asia, the Caribbean and Malta, who work at a local, national and international level to educate, empower and enable women and girls.

In Bradford meetings usually take place at The Great Victoria Hotel, Bridge Street, Bradford BD1 1JX. Meetings start at 6.30pm and are on the first and third Tuesday of each month plus other occasional meetings and social events.
