Description:

Coram Beanstalk is a national children's literacy charity. We have volunteers working in schools in West Yorkshire and welcome new applications from the area. Our aim is to ensure that every child we support has the skills and confidence to reach their true potential and shape their own lives.

The majority of our volunteers commit to helping for two afternoons a week during term time for a year or more, but it may be possible to find you a school if you can only offer one afternoon a week. Placement in a school is dependent on successful completion of training, satisfactory references and a DBS certificate.
