Community Action Bradford & District brings together local voluntary and community groups to develop the effectiveness of local voluntary action. The Ilkley office operates at the heart of our local community and brings together over 120 local groups and provides a wide range of services, information and advice.
We assist in the development of new groups, identify new needs and develop initiatives for meeting them.
As well as providing an infrastructure support to local community and voluntary groups in the district Community Action Bradford & District acts as a channel for local groups to voice their opinions on local issues.
The Ilkley office also provides admin support through a volunteer-led service to Good Neighbours Befriending, ShopAssist , Moving On and Home & Garden Assist schemes, as well as Ilkley Community Transport. Bradford and Airedale Citizens Advice meets clients by appointment only at the Ilkley office one morning a week (Tuesday currently)
Office open Monday to Thursday 10am to 12 noon and 2pm to 4pm. Friday 10am to 12 noon only - Other times by appointment.
