The Compassionate Friends is an organisation of bereaved parents, siblings and grandparents offering support and mutual understanding to others after the loss of a child, of any age, from any cause.
We have a National Telephone Helpline, with calls taken only by bereaved parents, which is available for support and information 365 days a year. We also have a comprehensive website which includes a Members Forum which enables those who join up to speak electronically to others similarly bereaved.
Our Helpline and website are the best ways to contact us initially and will put you in touch with our local support volunteers, local groups, weekend gatherings and meetings, information leaflets, bereavement support publications and postal library. Support specifically for siblings is also available.
The Helpline 0345 123 2304 is open daily from 10.00-16.00 and 19.00-22.00.
