Bierley Community Association (Charity No.1137347) runs The Life Centre from the heart of Bierley in South Bradford. Over the past 9 years, we’ve built up a reputation on our estate for being trustworthy, relational and for delivering quality provision through our older people’s programme (OPAL), our youth programme (BASE) and our family programme (HOME).
The Life Centre is open 7 days a week providing a welcoming space in the heart of our community where people can meet, engage with our community programmes, share lunch together and access a range of health and wellbeing services including NHS counselling, CHAS drop-in advice clinic, Carer’s Resource advice and support service, NHS respiratory consultation and activity groups, Prevention and Early Help family support service, Shed Central men’s group, as well as various exercise groups, cooking groups and regular meeting space. Our own projects, (OPAL, BASE and HOME), are well attended by local people and run 6-days a week through term time with additional programmes in the holidays.
