During the first half of meetings people enjoy refreshments together whilst participating in reminiscence discussions, games, sing-a-longs and other dementia-friendly activities.

In the second half carers can go through to another room to talk to each other in confidence if they wish whilst we continue dementia-friendly activities in the main room.

Carers can attend meetings alone (for example if the person with dementia is at day care or in residential care) but people with dementia need to be accompanied by a supporter. This is usually the main carer but it does not have to be, it could be a friend, neighbour, relative or paid companion.

Please contact Elizabeth to book using the contact details above before coming to your first meeting.
