Soroptimist International of Bradford is part of a worldwide organisation of women, which is linked to the United Nations. Soroptimist International Great Britain and Ireland (SIGBI) has 6000 Members in 270 Clubs in 18 countries including Great Britain, Ireland and countries in Asia, the Caribbean and Malta, who work at a local, national and international level to educate, empower and enable women and girls.

In Bingley, business meetings usually take place on the 2nd Tuesday of the month (except August and December) at Eldwick Church Hall. Social meetings are usually held on the 4th Tuesday of each month (except May, August and December) at Eldwick Memorial Hall.
