Bierley Community Centre (BCC) is situated at the heart of Bierley community 102 - 104 Bierley House Avenue BD4 6BU.
We have a wide range of group activities and Services.
to name a few;
We provide a warm space Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm. Please pop in to use the facility and have a warm drink, breakfast or free lunch.
We have Free Greggs Tuesdays to Friday
BCC hold a community Market every Wednesday 9.30 to 12noon, at the market we have free fruit, vegetables and perishables for all customers. Plus 15 food items to purchase at a cost of £5. (Individual arrangements for a market shop can be agreed if this time doesn't work for individuals that are working during this time)
We support the Gypsy & traveling community ensuring that they have access to showers, water a warm drink and safe space.
Each week we have a Benefits advisor, a Council Warden for advise and support and weekly visits from PCSO's for any concerns or issues you are experiencing.
Each market day we allow free table top sales for individuals who wish to sell their own items.
Carer's Resource run a craft and support groups in the Centre once a month.
We have Job club on a Thursday with access to IT equipment for job searches, homework etc.
We run a playgroup on a Monday morning and youth club followed by boxing on Tuesdays.
Friday is BCA reminiscing group for our senior community members this is followed by a 2 course lunch. The day comes to an end with either crafts session, group games or entertainment.
BCA runs a exercise session for the Senior community members on a Thursday afternoon, and trips out every second week.
Every second Wednesday of the month is the SEN children parents / carers support group 10 to 11.30am.
Every Wednesday at 3.30pm Prime Time host a cook and eat session for children with SEN, this is a small group. Booking is essential as places are limited.
BCA are developing their community garden and would like to welcome volunteers who would like to be involved in this project.
